This notice describes the Cloudflare POC and links to an external e-commerce storefront. It should be reviewed for the final production configuration, analytics tools, contact methods, and applicable laws.
1. Data processed by this POC
The public catalog can be browsed without creating an account. The site may process ordinary web-request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, approximate location, security signals, and timestamps through Cloudflare hosting logs. A local preference may be stored in your browser after dismissing the cookie notice.
2. Product and cover requests
The site loads its catalog from a static JSON file. Book-cover images may be requested from Payhip or its image-delivery infrastructure. Those third parties may receive standard request information when the image is loaded.
3. Purchases and customer accounts
This POC does not process payments. Selecting a product opens the original store, where Payhip and payment providers such as Stripe or PayPal may collect name, email, billing information, transaction details, device information, and other data needed to complete and protect the purchase. Their policies and the original store’s checkout notice apply.
4. How information may be used
- Deliver and secure the website.
- Respond to support requests submitted on the original store.
- Process purchases, receipts, licenses, and downloads on the e-commerce platform.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized redistribution, and security incidents.
- Meet accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory obligations.
5. Service providers and external links
Cloudflare hosts this POC. Payhip operates the original storefront. Payment and marketplace links may lead to Stripe, PayPal, Amazon, Google, YouTube, and other independent services. Each provider controls its own privacy practices.
6. Retention and security
Data should be retained only as long as required for the purpose collected, legal obligations, security, dispute resolution, and legitimate business records. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information, or unsubscribe from marketing messages. Use the original store’s contact form for privacy requests and identify the email address associated with the relevant account or purchase.
8. Children’s privacy
The store is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian should contact the store if they believe a child provided personal information.
9. Policy changes
This notice may be updated when the storefront, service providers, analytics configuration, or legal requirements change. The current version should always be reviewed before production launch.
